A new WordPress hosting service has been launched by Media Temple aimed at offering a new hosting solution to developers and designers as well as every day bloggers looking to be able to run a streamlined a reliable service.

The hosting service from Media temple for WordPress allows users to sign up with up to three different WordPress installs for $29 a month with any extra WordPress sites then being hosted for an additional $9 a month making it very competitive in the market place for hosting.
According to a report by TechCrunch the aim of the service is to allow a simple to use set up and services including automated updates and one click back ups for users.
Dante Baker from Media Temple told TechCrunch that the company are particularly proud of the staging environment available within the service which allows for testing sites and then to simply go live you just click one button.
Media Temple listened to the needs of WordPress users and found that they were most looking for a hosting service that allowed for built in email support and this is now available through a plug in with more being developed for the future to allow for easy modifications to the sites.
At the moment the service is primarily aimed at designers and developers but the regular blog user who is looking for something a little special is also being catered for with premium themes to allow their WordPress site to stand out from the crowd.
Dante Baker said: “What we are seeing in the WordPress community is a cry for premium features.”
He added: “Traditionally, a lot of hosters have ignored WordPress and WordPress users. We want to set a new standard for what users can expect from WordPress hosting at this price point.”
There will be plenty of help available for users of the hosting service with 24 hour back up available from a support team and two different levels of technicians available to help out depending on the level of the problem being encountered with the service.
